oh yeah this is a post about the concert but it’s basically for myself so I can remember everything feel free to keep scrollin’ 

• First of all, everyone needs to go to a concert in Madison Square Garden at some point in their lives because oh my god…..there is just nothing like it holy shit it was amazing 
• It’s like a party in the lobby before you even get inside jesus christ 
• Also my camera died lmao so all the pictures are crappy and from my phone
• It looks like I was really far but I wasn’t???? This is fucking Madison Square Garden y’all
• 
• This band called The Joy Formidable was the first opener and they were really great and I’ve checked them out a bit more and yeah good stuff 
• Then Social Distortion who were also good but I was just impatient at that point 
• It was super weird being by myself and obviously I was going to go no matter what but lmao yeah if you can avoid going to a concert by yourself you should because it’s just weird 
• 
• BUT my whole section stood and danced pretty much the entire time which was good because that’s what I do and I didn’t want to be that one asshole standing while everyone else was boring and lame 
• Show-wise it was great duh you could tell they were super hyped just to be playing there and yeah just UGH 
• Taylor
• Hawkins
• Oh omg the couple next to me got there like 5 minutes before it started and they were like making out and stuff the whole time and they kept leaving for more beer and they were super annoying but they left maybe an hour in to go have sex (not kidding, they actually said that) and yeah well that was for the better 
• Um what else yeah hey Bob Mould came out to play Dear Rosemary which was awesome because it sounded just like the album version of course 
• Then they went into Breakdown again and I died and this super drunk girl next to me who had been rocking out with me just stopped and was like standing still because she had no idea what the song was lol dumb 
• Then Dave was like THIS IS MADISON SQUARE GARDEN SO WE’VE GOTTA DO SOMETHING SUPER COOL AND HERE’S SOMEONE WE’VE NEVER JAMMED WITH BEFORE and it was Joan Jett and they played Bad Reputation and holy fucking shit it was awesome 
• Right before Everlong, some stupid kid threw a CD onstage and Dave was like “YOU WANT ME TO LISTEN TO YOUR BAND? THEN DON’T THROW A CD AT MY HEAD, ASSHOLE” as if we needed further proof that he is the best person 
• And yeah A+++++++++ duh 
• I could be seeing them in Newark right now sigh but MONEY also Newark is a dump and I’m not so sure I’d want to be there late at night with nobody to have my back 
• But it’s okay you know I’m just so glad I got to see them twice on the same tour and ALSO Dave said they are going to come back and play the Bowery Ballroom which would be awesome but idk how serious he was w/e
